It’s no secret that chips can be pretty addictive. The salty, crunchy texture and flavor are very tempting to many people, but unfortunately, they aren’t the healthiest foods to be eating on a regular basis. Dark chocolate is not only delicious, but it’s also rich in antioxidants that can help boost your immune system and protect your body from heart disease. The antioxidants work by neutralizing free radicals, which are molecules that can cause damage to cells and DNA when left unchecked. Dark chocolate also helps make you feel full—so you won’t reach for that bag of chips right after a bite or two.
