Q-9 Baked Chili Lime Mahi Mahi

 Prep Time 5 mins / Cook Time 20 mins / Total Time 25 mins / Servings: 4

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 Mahi Mahi fillets

  • 1 Bag Q-9 Superfood Zesty Chili Lime Heart Puffs

  • 1/8 tsp. salt

  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

  • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic

  • 3 tsp. lemon juice

 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees, Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then spray with cooking spray or brush with olive oil. Then add the Mahi Mahi fillets to the baking sheet.

2. Place Q-9 Zesty Chili Lime Heart puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs,

3. Brush the lemon & Garlic mixture over the raw Mahi Mahi fillets, season with salt and pepper, then top with Q-9 Chili-Lime crumbs

4. Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the fillets flake easily and/or reach an internal temperature of 137 degrees F. Remove and Serve immediately.

5. Mahi Mahi should be cooked to around 137 degrees F. Be sure as to not overcook it – as it will dry out quickly.

Q-9 Classic Ranch Chicken

Prep Time 10 mins / Cook Time 15 mins / Total Time 20 mins / Servings: 4

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 Bags Q-9 Superfood Classic Ranch Heart Puffs

  • 1 pound chicken breasts

  • kosher salt and pepper

  • 1 egg

  • Optional: Ranch Dressing

 

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

  2. (Use a wire baking rack over top of the baking sheet if you have one).

  3. Add Q-9 Classic Ranch Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs, Put in a bowl.

  4. Cut chicken into thin strips or bite size nuggets or leave whole. Season with kosher salt and pepper.

  5. Beat the egg in a bowl.

  6. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, then into the Q-9 Ranch crumbs.

  7. Press the crumbs into the chicken and place on the baking sheet.

  8. Top with more Q-9 Ranch crumbs if some are leftover and sprinkle with more kosher salt and pepper.

  9. Bake for 15 minutes at 450 degrees.

  10. Serve with Ranch dressing if desired. 

 

Q-9 Turkey Sliders with Sweet Potato Buns

Prep: 25 min. + chilling Cook: 45 min. YIELD: 10 servings

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 applewood-smoked bacon strips, finely chopped

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 2 bags Q-9 Superfood White Cheddar Heart Puffs

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 2 large sweet potatoes

  • Shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese

  • Honey Dijon mustard

 

Directions:

1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels. Discard all but 2 tablespoons

drippings. Set skillet aside.

2. Add Q-9 White cheddar puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs,

Put in a large bowl

3. Add into bowl, bacon, ground turkey, eggs, Parmesan cheese, fresh cilantro, dried basil, cumin, soy sauce, until well mixed; cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.

4. Preheat oven to 425°. Cut sweet potatoes into 20 slices about 1/2 in. thick. Place slices on an ungreased

baking sheet; bake until sweet potatoes are tender but not mushy, 30-35 minutes. Remove slices; cool on a wire rack.

5. Heat skillet with reserved drippings over medium-high heat. Shape turkey mixture into slider-sized patties.

Cook sliders in batches, 3-4 minutes on each side, taking care not to crowd skillet. Add a pinch of shredded cheddar

after flipping each slider the first time. Cook until a thermometer reads 165° and juices run clear.

6. To serve, place each slider on a sweet potato slice; dab with honey Dijon mustard. Cover with a second sweet

potato slice. Pierce with toothpick. 

 

Q-9 Veggie & Ham Casserole

 

Prep/Total Time: 30 min. YIELD: 4 servings

 

Ingredients:

1 package (16 ounces) frozen broccoli florets

1 package (16 ounces) frozen cauliflower

2 teaspoons plus 2 tablespoons butter, divided

1 Bag of Q-9 Superfood Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1-1/2 cups 2% milk

3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1-1/2 cups cubed fully cooked ham (about 8 ounces)

1/4 teaspoon pepper

 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 425°. Cook broccoli and cauliflower according to package directions; drain.

2. Add Q-9 Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs,

3. In a small skillet, melt 2 teaspoons butter. Add Q-9 Spinach Parmesan crumbs; cook and stir over medium heat 2-3 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove from heat.

4. In a large saucepan, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually whisk in milk.

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in cheeses until blended. Stir in ham, pepper and vegetables.

5. Transfer to a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Sprinkle with toasted crumbs. Bake, uncovered, until heated

through, 10-15 minutes.

 

 

Q-9 Egg & Asparagus Breakfast Croquettes

TOTAL TIME: Prep: 30 min. + chilling Cook: 5 min./batch YIELD: 6 servings

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup 2% milk

  • 6 hard-boiled large eggs, chopped

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh asparagus

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh tarragon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 Bags Q-9 Superfood Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs

  • 3 large eggs, beaten Oil (canola, peanut or coconut)

Directions:

1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; cook and stir until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk; cook and stir until thickened (mixture will be thick).

2. Add Q-9 Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs place in shallow bowl

3. Place in another bowl Stir in hard-boiled eggs, asparagus, green onions, cheddar cheese, tarragon, salt, pepper, and Refrigerate 2 hours.

4. Shape 1/4 cupfuls of egg mixture into twelve 3-in.-long ovals. Place beaten eggs in shallow bowl. Roll logs in Q-9 Spinach Parmesan crumbs to coat, then dip in egg and roll again in crumbs, patting to help coating adhere.

5. In a deep cast-iron or electric skillet, heat oil to 375°. Fry in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towels.  

 

Q-9 Baked Spinach Parmesan Squash

TOTAL TIME: Prep: 20 min. Bake: 20 min. YIELD: 6 servings

 

Ingredients:

4 cups thinly sliced yellow summer squash (3 medium)

3 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 bag Q-9 Superfood Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

Directions :

1. Preheat oven to 450°. Place squash in a large bowl. Add oil and seasonings; toss to coat.

2. Add Q-9 Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs place in shallow bowl

3. Mix Q-9 Spinach Parmesan crumbs and cheese. Dip squash in crumb mixture to coat both sides, patting to help coating adhere.

Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, rotating pans halfway through baking. 

 

 

Q-9 Spicy Wings

Prep: 15 min. Bake: 25 min. YIELD: 20 servings.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha chili sauce

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

 

CRUMB TOPPING:

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 bag Q-9 Superfood Classic Ranch Heart Puffs

  • 2 green onions, sliced diagonally, divided

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 chopped chili peppers, sliced, optional

 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400°. Using a sharp knife, cut through the 2 wing joints; discard wing tips. Combine next 7 ingredients; add wings and toss to coat.

2. Line a 15x10-in. pan with foil; grease with cooking spray. Bake wings in prepared pan 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake until juices run clear, 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven; keep warm. Add Q-9 Classic Ranch Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs.

3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter; add Q-9 Ranch crumbs, one green onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until bread crumbs are golden brown, about 2 minutes. Set aside.

5. To serve, toss wings in sauce. Sprinkle with Q-9 Ranch crumb topping, remaining green onion and chopped chili peppers, if desired. Serve hot.

 

 

Q-9 Cauliflower Mac and Cheese

Prep Time 5 mins / Cook Time 30 mins / Total Time 35 mins / Servings: 4-6

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound penne pasta

  • 1 cup 2-percent or skim milk

  • 1 pound shredded cheddar cheese
    (or a mixture of your favorite melting cheeses)

  • 1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

  • 3 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 1 Bag Q-9 SuperFood White Cheddar Heart Puffs

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.

  3. Steam the cauliflower until soft, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a blender along with a few tablespoons of the steaming liquid. Puree the cauliflower, adding more steaming liquid to thin the puree if necessary.

  4. In a medium size casserole dish, combine the pasta and hot cauliflower puree.

  5. Add the milk, both cheeses, parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Add Q-9 White Cheddar Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs.

  7. In a small bowl, mix the butter and Q-9 White Cheddar crumbs with your fingers until it resembles damp sand.

  8. Sprinkle across the top of the pasta mixture, then place the dish in the oven for about 20 minutes until the top is crispy and the sauce is bubbling.

 

 

Q-9 White Beans With Feta

Prep Time 5 mins / Cook Time 25 mins / Total Time 30 mins / Servings: 4 appetizer

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 can large white beans, drained and rinsed  

  • 1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh oregano

  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest

  • salt and freshly ground pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 bag Q-9 Superfood Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. In an oven-proof serving dish, combine the beans with the Feta cheese, oregano, and lemon zest.

  3. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Add Q-9 Spinach Parmesan Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs

  5. Drizzle the oil over the top and sprinkle with the Q-9 Spinach Parmesan Crumbs.

  6. Bake until beans are warmed through and the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 20-24 minutes.

Q-9 Zucchini Ranch French Fries

Prep Time 5 mins / Cook Time 25 mins / Total Time 30 mins / Servings: 6-8 appetizer

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of zucchini, preferably not the patty pan
    variety since they don't lend themselves to fries shape

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 2 eggs 2

  • bags Q-9 Superfood Classic Ranch Heart Puffs

  • 1 teaspoon salt 

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Prepare the zucchini fries by chopping the zucchini into long strips

  3. Add Q-9 Superfood Classic Ranch Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs

  4. Using three separate bowls use one for the flour, use the next to lightly beat the eggs, and fill the last bowl with the Q-9 Classic Ranch crumbs, salt and pepper.

  5. Begin by lightly coating the zucchini in flour, next dip in the egg, and lastly dip the zucchini strips in the Q-9 Classic Ranch crumbs.

  6. Place the zucchini strips on a wire rack on top of a cookie sheet.

  7. Cook the fries until golden about 25 to 30 minutes.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

 

Q-9 Stuffed Mushrooms with Bacon

 

Prep Time 10 minutes / Cook Time 20 minutes / Total Time 30 minutes / Servings 4

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb baby bella mushrooms

  • 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

  • 4 oz cream cheese,

  • 2 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 1 Bag Q-9 Superfood White Cheddar Heart Puffs

  • 1tbsp chives chopped

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line a sheet pan with foil.

  2. Wipe the mushrooms with a dry paper towel to remove any dirt, remove the stems.

  3. Cook the bacon until it's crispy; pat it dry with paper towels. chop into small pieces.

  4. Add Q-9 Superfood White Cheddar Heart Puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs

  5. add to bowl then mix together the cheeses, bacon, and chives.

  6. Stuff the mushrooms with the mixture and place on the sheet pan, bake for 20 minutes. Serve hot!

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts,
    cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces

  • 2 Bag Q-9 Superfood Zesty Chili Lime Heart Puffs

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.

  2. Mix first six ingredients; stir in chicken to coat.

  3. Place Q-9 Zesty Chili Lime puffs into a clear bag or food processor and crush until it looks like breadcrumbs Place Q-9 Zesty Chili Lime crumbs in a shallow bowl; add chicken, one piece at a time, and toss to coat.

  4. Place 1 inch apart on a greased baking sheet.

  5. Bake until lightly browned and chicken is no longer pink, 18-20 minutes.
